You'll need to connect your Facebook profile to Stage TEN, in order to broadcast to your Facebook Feed or Page.
Go to Settings (gear icon, top right) -> Destinations.
Click on the Facebook logo.
Click Connect and follow the prompts to allow Stage TEN access to stream.
You'll now see the name of your Facebook profile under Current Facebook connection, along with the Feed and any Pages your profile has access to.
Note: Facebook requires a different method for streaming to Groups.
Select any Feed or Pages you want to stream to. When you close the settings page, those will appear in the list of Destinations.
For every Facebook Destination you selected in the previous step, you'll see a corresponding destination on this list.
When you are ready to go LIVE, turn on one or more of your chosen Facebook Destinations using the toggle switch. Use the same toggle switch to end your stream.
The square icon next to each destination provides a link to your stream. Clicking here provides will open a new window where you can copy the url and easily share your stream with your audience.
Streaming to a Group requires you to use the Facebook Live Producer in addition to Stage TEN. Read more about streaming with the Facebook Live Producer.
Pre-Scheduling your events allows you to promote your broadcast ahead of time and get a larger audience. You can schedule an event with the Facebook Live Producer, or from Stage TEN.
Go to Settings (gear icon, top right), click Destinations, then the Facebook Icon, then Schedule a Live Video.
Enter the stream details.
Post to: Select the feed or page you want to post to. If you can't see a page, ensure it was selected as a streaming destination when you connected your account.
Privacy: Determines who will be able to see your stream on Facebook (only applies to Feed).
Date/Start time: You must select a time between 10 mins and 1 week in the future.
Title, Description: These will appear with your video in the Facebook Post.
Stream copy: If enabled, Stage TEN servers will skip a processing step. Read more about Stream copy.
Click Create.
If you visit the Facebook page you selected, you will now see your scheduled live video listed there.
A new destination will be added in the Pro Studio that is specific to this event. Use this instead of the normal destination for that Page.
You can preview your stream any time before the scheduled start time.
To send your stream to Facebook, toggle on the Destination that was created for your event.
The next steps for going live to this event depend on whether you toggle on the destination before vs after the scheduled time.
If you start early: The stream will not be visible to viewers on Facebook until the start time. At the start time, Facebook will make it visible automatically.
If you start late: You will need to visit the Facebook page while you're live, where you will be given the option to Manually Start Live Video. Your stream will not be made visible on Facebook automatically.
If you start more than 10 mins late: You must go live no later than ten minutes after your scheduled stream, or your live video will be cancelled.
Tip: If you want to force the stream to start early, visit the page, disable Go live automatically at scheduled start time, and click Go live now.
To stop sending your stream to Facebook, toggle off the switch from the Stage TEN Studio, or click Stop All. Then, confirm you want to Stop the stream.
Go to Settings (gear icon, top right) -> Destinations, then click the Facebook button.
Click on the Trash icon next to the connection you want to remove.
If the connection is not removed, please get in touch with support at support@stageten.tv
Tip: Your Facebook profile can only be connected to one Stage TEN account at a time. If you need to stream to the same feed, page or group from multiple Stage TEN accounts, you can configure it as an RTMP destination.
