Stage TEN now supports Contests and Giveaways!
You can use this feature to attract viewers to your show, and then get their contact information to add to your mailing list.
Giveaways can be created in the Studio. In the bottom-left, click Giveaways, then click +.
Enter a title that describes what they'll win, which will appear for viewers when you activate the giveaway during a show.
You can also choose the fields you want to prompt the user for. They will need to provide this info in order to enter your giveaway. The email and first name fields are always required.
Click Create. This giveaway will be saved and ready for you to use in a show.
When you're ready, click View on the giveaway you want to use, and then click Start to open the contest.
You can start a giveaway before or during your show, and you can re-open a closed giveaway during that single show (in case you close it early by mistake), but note that each giveaway can only be used in a single show.
This view will also show you the name and email of the entrants as they are added.
When the giveaway starts, viewers will be invited to enter. They can also click the gift button on the Interactive Player to re-open the giveaway. They'll see a prompt similar to this:
When you're ready to pick some winners, you can click Draw winner. Each time you click this, a new winner will be drawn (each entrant can only win once).
It's now up to you to contact the winner via their email and award them their prize.
You can see the results to all past giveaways in the Studio. You can also find your Giveaway results listed in the Past Show details page in the dashboard, as shown below.
If you want to save the contact info to use for other purposes such as building a mailing list, you can Export them from the Giveaway view in the Studio. This will download a .csv file to your computer with the results.
