Stage TEN lets you broadcast to multiple social platforms, and to multiple accounts/channels on those platforms.

Social destinations, once configured, appear alongside the Stage TEN Interactive Player destination in the destination list, and can each be controlled by their own toggle.

Tip: The interactive SHOP and VOTE features can only be used by viewers on the Stage TEN Interactive Player. Tell viewers this to draw them to the website you've embedded your player.

Connecting Social Destinations

Social channels can be connected in one of two ways.

Automatically (Sign-up with Social)

If you used a social login to sign up for a Stage TEN account, we automatically connect the destinations available to that account.

Connect a Destination

You can add more social channels to your account in the project settings.

Where are project settings?

  • If you're already in the Studio, click the pencil button in the top-left corner to open the project settings.

  • If you're on the Dashboard, click Studio. The setup wizard will prompt you to manage destinations, or if you've already completed that you'll see the configured project settings.

From the project settings, click Edit audience > Manage Destinations.

Click on the destination type you want to add and follow the prompts to connect. Many additional destinations can be also added using RTMP.

  • X (Twitter): Connect to X as an RTMP destination. You can find your connection info in the X Media Studio.

Going Live to your connected social channels

Ensure your new destination is selected, then save your destinations settings.

Once you are in the Studio, click Go Live in the top-right to start broadcasting.

Multistream Destination Settings

Stream Copy

One of the settings available on multistreaming destinations is Stream Copy. By default, this setting is off.

You can find this setting by opening your project settings, clicking Manage Destinations, then clicking the edit button on the corresponding destination.

What is Stream Copy?

Typically, Stage TEN’s servers will process your video stream prior to sending it to your multistreaming destinations to ensure compatibility and stability, especially on unstable networks. However, this is no longer necessary for most services, and can impact latency and picture quality.

If you prefer to optimize for speed, you can skip this processing step by enabling the Stream Copy option for your multistreaming destinations.

Deleting an existing connection

To delete an existing social destination, open the project settings, click Manage Destinations, then click the trash button on the corresponding destination.
