You can use RTMP to connect to any social channel or website player you like.
Obtain an RTMP Server URL and a Stream Key from the social platform you're attempting to stream to.
From the dashboard, click Studio or Create a show.
In the Project settings, click Edit audience, then Manage destinations.
Choose the RTMP option, then paste the Server URL and Stream Key you copied from the platform you want to stream to. Provide a title for identifying this destination in the list later.
Click Create.
Tips:
some platforms use other names for the Server URL or Stream Key, but one is always a url that starts with "rtmp", and the other is a alphanumeric identifier.
Keep your stream key secret - anyone with that key can stream to your account on that platform.
Some platforms limit RTMP keys to one-time-use. If needed, you can edit a Stage TEN destination to update the RTMP key after its been used.
Return to the Audience settings, and ensure your new destination is selected.
Click Save.
You have added the RTMP destination. You can open the project and go live to see your stream on the RTMP destination.
In the Stage TEN Pro Studio, go to Settings (gear icon, top right) -> Destinations -> RTMP icon. Click Add.
Enter a name for your destination and the Server URL & Stream Key. Then click Save.
Your RTMP connection will appear in Live Destinations.
To start your stream, simply toggle on the destination you added.
To end your stream, toggle it off again (or click Stop All).
