Connect Streaming Software
If you prefer to use OBS or other software to create your show, you can stream into Stage TEN using these instructions.

Many creator tools (such as OBS) can be configured to send a stream into Stage TEN using the WHIP protocol.
When you send a stream it will appear on your channel page and Interactive players embedded using the Shopify app block or HTML iframe code snippet. It will also be listed in the Stage TEN discovery feeds for audiences to discover.
Sending a stream to your Stage TEN channel
Sending a stream to Stage TEN is simple. All you need to do is copy the connection settings from Stage TEN into your streaming software of choice.
Log into Stage TEN and navigate to the Connecting Streaming Software page in the dashboard.
Copy the WHIP server url for your channel into your streaming software. Details for how to configure a destination will vary depending on your tool of choice. Please review our recommended settings for streaming from OBS.
Start sending your stream. It will appear on your Stage TEN channel automatically when it is received.
When your stream ends, you can find it in Past shows. From there you can obtain a recording or publish an interactive replay to your channel page.
Configuring how your stream appears on Stage TEN
By default, a title will be generated for your stream based on your channel title, and the placeholder image for your channel will be used as a thumbnail.
If you'd like, you can customize these details:
Title: Go to Connecting Streaming Software, then click the edit (pencil) button on the show card. Enter a title and save.
Description: Go to Connecting Streaming Software, then click the edit (pencil) button on the show card. Enter a description and save.
Thumbnail: Go to Channel page settings, then scroll down to the Placeholder image setting and click Replace.
Using Chat with External Streams
Viewers watching your show on Stage TEN will be able to chat with you. To see these messages during your show, keep the Companion open in a browser window where you can see it.
Alternatively, you can watch the show on your channel page or an embedded Interactive Player (like a viewer would) and participate in chat there.
